Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

meetexporters.com is operated by Halisyün Tekstil Gıda Bilişim ve Eğitim Hiz. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("we", "us"), a company established in Türkiye, acting as data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). 2. What data we collect

• Sourcing request data: product title and description, category, quantity, target price, delivery date, your country.
• Contact data (only when you submit a request or the contact form): name, email address, and optionally company name, phone number and website.
• Messages you exchange with manufacturers through the platform.
• Technical data: IP address (hashed, for rate limiting and abuse prevention), approximate country, browser type, and anonymous usage events (e.g. that a supplier profile was viewed). We do not use advertising trackers.

3. How we use it and on what legal basis

• To route your sourcing request to relevant Turkish manufacturers and let them reply — performance of a contract / steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To email you confirmations and reply notifications about your own requests — Art. 6(1)(b).
• To prevent spam and abuse (rate limiting, honeypot) and keep the service secure — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To measure aggregate conversion (how many requests receive replies) without identifying you — Art. 6(1)(f).

4. When your contact details are shared

Manufacturers see your request and your country, not your identity. Your name, email, company, phone and website are disclosed to a manufacturer only when you reply to that manufacturer's offer on the platform. At the same moment the manufacturer's contact details are disclosed to you. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with any other third party except the service providers listed below.

5. How we protect it

Contact data is stored encrypted at the application layer (AES-256-GCM) in a separate database table that only server-side code with a dedicated key can read. Access is logged, TLS is enforced in transit, and the private link you receive by email is the only way to access your request.

6. Service providers (processors)

• Supabase (database & storage hosting)
• Vercel (application hosting)
• Resend (transactional email delivery)

These providers may process data outside Türkiye/the EEA under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7. Retention

Sourcing requests expire 30 days after submission. Request and message records are retained for up to 24 months for dispute resolution and aggregate statistics, then deleted or anonymised. Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR and KVKK you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email bilgi@ihracatyap.com. We respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies/storage required for the site to function. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
